About Integria
Integria is a centre for psychotherapy and body awareness in Sofia. A place where you meet yourself.
What Integria is
Integria brings together psychotherapists with different professional training and different ways of working, around a shared standard of practice.
The work here may be verbal or body-oriented, individual or in a group, depending on the therapist, the person and the particular work. You do not need to be looking for a specific method in order to begin.
Why body awareness
Psychological experience does not happen only in thoughts and words. It can also show itself in tension, breathing, movement, posture, sensation, and in the way we react in contact with another person.
This is why Integria also has room for approaches that attend to the body. It does not mean that every therapist works with the body, or that every therapy involves exercises or physical contact.
We do not start from the method
Different people need different ways of working. For us the method is not an end in itself. What matters more is the person, the subject, the therapeutic relationship, and what is actually useful in this particular process.
What you can expect
A clear frame
The length of a session, the price and the conditions for booking, changing and cancelling are known in advance. They are set out in the terms, not settled as we go.
Professional boundaries
The work has a clear frame and does not rest on a promise that the therapist knows better than you what is right for you.
Confidentiality
What is said in psychotherapeutic work is treated as confidential, within the applicable professional and legal requirements. How confidentiality works sets out in detail who sees what.
Informed participation
When a particular way of working or a body-oriented intervention is proposed, you should understand what is being proposed and be able to decline it.
The right to choose differently
If a particular therapist or approach is not right for you, this can be discussed openly, and where possible a referral can be offered.
Different therapeutic approaches
Integria is not built on a single school of psychotherapy. Therapists may have different training and methodology, and their profiles describe this specifically.
What they have in common is the professional frame, a clear account of their qualifications, and respect for the client's boundaries and autonomy.
What we do not promise
Psychotherapy does not offer a universal recipe, a guaranteed result, or a fixed period within which change will happen.
Where a difficulty calls for medical, psychiatric or other specialist care, psychotherapy does not replace it. Where needed, the work can run alongside a doctor or psychiatrist.
You and your therapist may conclude that you are not a good fit, or that a different kind of help is needed. That is not a failure of the therapy.
Founder
Integria was founded by Diana Ginova — psychologist, psychotherapist and supervisor, with more than fourteen years in private practice.
The idea is a centre where different professionals work within one clear frame, without losing what is specific to their own therapeutic approach.
The therapists at Integria
Every therapist has their own professional profile, training and way of working. These are presented clearly so that you can make an informed choice.
When a new therapist joins, their professional training and the services they may offer through Integria are checked before their profile is published. The system does not allow a profile to be published unless that check has been recorded.
The space
The centre is in Sofia, in Manastirski livadi, and is set up for individual and group psychotherapeutic work. There are free parking spaces in front of the building, and the Kaufland „Manastirski livadi“ car park is less than 200 metres away.
If you need to know in advance how to reach the rooms — steps, a lift, wheelchair access — write to us at office@integriacenter.com and we will describe what is actually there.
